Wild Elephants Devastate Rice Crops in Bahragodra's Angarishol, Farmers Alarmed

Last night, wild elephants entered the village of Angarishol in the Bahragodra block and caused significant damage to farmer Lal Mohan Mandi's field. The elephants destroyed his ready-to-harvest Garma rice crop by eating it and trampling it underfoot, resulting in substantial financial loss for the farmer.

According to local reports, a herd of 6-7 elephants has taken shelter in the forest near the village. The presence of these elephants in the nearby forest has made farmers in the region extremely worried about the safety of their crops.

Villagers have expressed fear due to the elephants' presence, stating that people are now afraid to leave their homes. The situation has become so tense that even stepping outside has become difficult for the residents of the area.
