Five Arrested for Chicken, Beer Party on Ganga Boat, Granted Bail

Five men from Ramnagar, aged 20-31, were arrested after a viral video showed them cooking chicken and drinking beer on a boat in Varanasi's Ganga river. Uttar Pradesh Police acted quickly, arresting them on June 23 under BNS sections. The boat was seized. The accused were granted bail the next day with personal bonds and sureties of Rs 20,000 each.
