Jamshedpur: Major Police Operation in Border Area, Main Accused of Kapali Firing Incident Arrested

Police achieved a major success in the Kapali firing case near Jamshedpur. The main accused, Ashfaq Ahmed alias Ballu (42), was arrested from Purulia Road in West Bengal. On June 2, a land dispute in Islamnagar led to a fatal shooting of an officer. Following the incident, a special team used CCTV footage and technical evidence to identify and arrest the suspect on June 4. The accused had prior criminal records, including a 2022 attempted murder case. He has now been sent to jail after completing legal procedures.
