7 Dead, 40 Hospitalized After Ammonia Gas Leak at Tamil Nadu Seafood Factory

Seven women died and over 40 were hospitalized after an ammonia gas leak at a seafood factory in Tamil Nadu. The incident occurred at St Peter's Paul Seafoods Exports, where around 120 migrant workers were staying. Many experienced severe breathing difficulties and bleeding. Chief Minister Vijay ordered an inquiry committee and announced compensation for victims' families.
