Storm deluges 70,000 Gaza tents in 12 hours as Israel restricts shelter aid, civil defence reports
Some seventy thousand tents sheltering displaced people in Gaza flooded within twelve hours, officials said. Rescuers took fifteen hundred distress calls as water rose, and loss reached three million dollars. Premature babies, old people and sick folk were also at most risk in open tents.
