Rajasthan Schools Without Buildings: CJP Team Faces Alleged Attack During Probe

A Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) team led by Ashutosh Ranka was allegedly attacked while inspecting a government school in Bagru, Rajasthan, where students were reportedly taught in a temporary shed housing buffaloes. Data from the Rajasthan government shows 611 government schools lack buildings, including 10 girls' schools, with the highest numbers in Aklera block (23). Of 64,484 schools with buildings, 2,047 lack toilets and 1,049 lack drinking water. Opposition criticized infrastructure neglect, citing 3,768 dilapidated schools. The government allocated ₹550 crore for repairs and ₹450 crore for new buildings, with a five-year plan of ₹12,500 crore for school infrastructure.
