Main Suspect in Unnao Hindu Priest Murder Killed in Police Encounter; Weapons Recovered

The main suspect in the murder of Hindu priest Ram Milan Das in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao district was killed in a police encounter after allegedly firing at officers during an arrest attempt. The accused, Israel alias Izrail, was carrying a reward of ₹1 lakh for his arrest. Police recovered a pistol, knife, and spent cartridges from him. The case stems from the priest's murder on June 9, allegedly due to tensions over religious activities at a temple. Five accused were named, with three arrested earlier. Police continue investigating and searching for remaining suspects.
