Supreme Court Defers Waqf Amendment Hearing to 21 January 2027
The Supreme Court moved the Waqf law hearing to January twenty-one, twenty twenty-seven, and set a pleadings deadline of December thirty-one, twenty twenty-six. Justices Sundresh and Varale gave applicants two weeks to file writ pleas. The court aide will collect past rulings and the state will write back soon. The state kept five main pleas picked in April twenty twenty-five.
