Former Jharkhand Minister Madhav Lal Singh Passes Away in Ranchi

Madhav Lal Singh, a former minister of Jharkhand, has passed away. He was admitted to a private hospital in Bokaro after his health worsened suddenly. When his condition became serious, doctors referred him to Ranchi for better treatment. He was later shifted to PLS Hospital in Ranchi, where he passed away during treatment on Wednesday morning. News of his death spread quickly, and grief swept across the state, including his home constituency of Gomia.

Madhav Lal Singh had represented the Gomia Assembly constituency four times. He was elected as MLA in 1985, 1990, 2000, and 2009. Over the years, he built a strong reputation as a powerful and popular leader in the politics of Bihar and later Jharkhand. Leaders from various political parties, social organizations, and local residents described his death as an irreparable loss to the state’s political and social landscape. The Gomia region is now filled with sorrow and a sense of deep mourning.
