Maharashtra to Audit Church, Missionary Land; Action Against Irregularities

The Maharashtra government has initiated a statewide audit of church and missionary land, aiming to identify illegal encroachments, disputed titles, and irregularities in records. This three-month process, led by a committee including senior officials, will review properties since the British era and after Independence.
