Jamshedpur: MGM Hospital Accused of Negligence After Newborn's Death Post-Vaccination

On Monday, a major disturbance occurred at MGM Hospital in Jamshedpur following the death of a newborn baby. The family members accused the hospital of negligence and administering the wrong injection. The incident left the family in extreme distress.

It was reported that Bittu Ramani, a resident of Manguru Gurudwara Road, had a son born three days prior. After the birth, both the mother and child were completely healthy, and they were discharged from the hospital. On Monday, the family took the newborn for a routine vaccination and check-up at MGM Hospital.

According to the relatives, after the vaccine was administered, the child's body suddenly started turning blue and his condition worsened. Seeing the critical state of the child, the family immediately rushed him back to MGM Hospital, where doctors declared him dead after examination.

After the incident, the family's anger erupted. The family alleges that the hospital gave the child the wrong injection, which caused his death. Meanwhile, after the news of the incident, a crowd gathered at the hospital premises and a commotion lasted for quite some time.
