Major Anti-Child Labour Operation in Adityapur: Four Minors Rescued from Sweet Shop and Washing Centre, Owners Issued Stern Warning

In Jamshedpur's Adityapur, authorities conducted a major crackdown on child labor. A joint team from the Child Labor Department, Child Welfare Committee, and local police raided two locations. They rescued two children from 'Rohit Sweets' on NIT Road and two minors from a vehicle washing center near Ambedkar Chowk. All four children were immediately handed over to their parents by the CWC. The shop and washing center owners received strict warnings. SDC member Syed Haider emphasized that employing children under 14 is a serious legal offense. He warned that any future violations will result in direct legal action. Shop owners were instructed to display boards stating 'No child labor works here' outside their establishments.
