Kerala Proposes Menstrual Leave for School Students

The Kerala government has proposed menstrual leave for school students allowing up to three days monthly as part of Project Menstrual Dignity. The initiative aims to improve facilities for girls and women with weekend catch-up classes included. The plan also includes equal pay measures, child care rules, maternity benefits for unorganized workers, and improved sanitary facilities statewide.
