Bandh Called in Nizamabad Over Principal's Assault Allegation Regarding Urdu Teaching

Several organizations called for a Nizamabad bandh Monday after a Telangana school principal alleged BJP workers assaulted him for teaching Urdu. Amer Khan of Bharat Chandra School claimed workers attacked him over Urdu instruction to non-Muslim students. The school stated parents requested the language. BJP leaders denied assault allegations, claiming the principal imposed religious practices on Hindu students and conducted namaz in classrooms, triggering the protest.
