Manoharpur Murder: Drunk Husband Kicks, Beats Wife to Death

In West Singhbhum district, a man was arrested for killing his wife in Etwar market under Manohar police station. The accused, Charan Mahali, admitted during interrogation that he beat his wife to death while intoxicated.

Police officials reported that on Wednesday, May 13, they received information about a dead body found inside Etwar market under Manohar police station. After verifying the information, the police superintendent directed the Manohar police station team to reach the scene and begin proceedings. A police team led by the subdivision police officer registered the case and conducted a raid, apprehending 35-year-old Charan Mahali, a resident of Manohar market.

During his statement, Charan Mahali confessed that while under the influence of alcohol, he beat his second wife, Rina Machhua, to death by kicking and hitting her. The case has been registered, and the accused is in custody.
